We founded in a period of high economic growth in Japan and had been manufacturing tools and our main product of Toggle Clamp over 50 years.
We have been growing by supplying these tools that meets customer requirement.

Our main product of toggle clamp is a tool which can hold workpiece tight by small application force as hand.
After the period of high economic growth, we are recognized a brand [KAKUTA] as high quality to be used in automobile, railroad, construction equipment industries for many applications as welding, machining, assembly, inspection and a parts of equipment.
We proud to keep [Made in Japan] and are garnered high praise from the whole world.

Since a few decades, we started to manufacture a disaster prevention equipment.
Regarding clamps, we increased variation as small clamp [HS10], small air clamp [AC250] and [Dual Clamp] which has toggle/cam mechanism performs stable clamping that can not even compete with toggle clamp.

SANKO, a manufacturer of KAKUTA toggle clamp for 50 years, and KAKUTA HANBAI, sales of KAKUTA toggle clamp, merged and started on 1st May 2019 named "KAKUTA CO., LTD.".

As technology advances, tool industry faces off against diversification of manufacturing, competition of quality and cost.
